Having previously supported the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Night Beats, and received acclaim from Clash and NME, Brighton’s Strange Cages are fast making their mark as ones to watch. Now, following the release of their new EP earlier this month, they’ve shared a hypnotic new video for title track ‘The Cracks’.
Oozing the band’s trademark post-punk infused psychedelic haze, ‘The Cracks’ races with pounding beats, the reverb-strewn twang of guitars and the deep, raw screech of impassioned vocals. Filled with a thrashing intensity and riotous scuzz, it’s a wonderful, whirring cacophony of hallucinogenic ecstasy.
