WATCH: Atumpan & Paigey Cakey team up in the visuals for new single ‘Watch Nobody’

Love Dancehall? Love AfroBeats? Atumpan is definitely the perfect blend of the two genres. The Ghanaian AfroDancehall artist who won Best International AfroBeats Act in the 2013 BEFFTA Awards has previously worked with fellow Ghanaian artists from his hometown; Sarkodie and Samini for tracks ‘Gimme Some More’ and ‘Regina’- both tracks are bound to have you shaking a leg or two. But now Atumpan has joined forces with Hackney-born Rapper/Singer Paigey Cakey for the release of his latest track ‘Watch Nobody’.

The track itself is very upbeat and positive, detailing the importance of having fun and not focusing on what everyone thinks about you. The video coincides with the song very well, with the use of bright colors and flashing lights, not forgetting the inclusion of a Gold Lamborghini that represents money. This signifies another theme that’s highlighted throughout the video – if you have it why not spend it and make the most out of the life we are given. Lyrically, both Atumpan and Paigey Cakey are reluctant to give negativity any of their time, keeping things purely positive throughout as you should.

The last scene in the video shows Paigey Cakey and Atumpan taking phones from people in a club who are perched up against a wall and not having a good time even though they are in a nightclub playing ‘Watch Nobody’. I mean, how could you not have a good time whilst listening to this song? *Rolls Eyes*. This is definitely an anthem for the summer.
