WATCH: The Big Moon – ‘Formidable’

Ever wondered what it would look like if London rockers The Big Moon played a gig in the back of a transit van? Well, wonder no more. In their new video for latest track ‘Formidable’, the girls happily rock out in the back of said vehicle, and it’ll probably make you want to do the same.

Directed by the band’s long standing collaborator Louis Bhose, The video was filmed in the heart of the British Peak District. The Big Moon are known for their witty and humorous music videos, but the visuals for ‘Formidable’ are slightly more mature. Speaking about the video, the band said: “‘Formidable’ is a song that’s important to us all, and it felt like for once, it wasn’t appropriate to make a mega fun, LOLZ video. We had a day off in between cities on our autumn tour, so we drove to the beautiful Peak District and smashed out the song in the back of the van. It’s a van that we’ve spent more time in than our own beds over the last year.”

The Big Moon recently concluded a UK tour, and are now on a US tour alongside The Japanese House. To coincide with the release of their debut album Love In The 4th Dimension, the band are heading out on a Spring 2017 UK tour, starting in Brighton on the 20th of April, and concluding in London on the 2nd of May at Village Underground.
