WATCH: Chris Webby shares visuals for ‘Fuck Off’

Having made a name for himself over in the US, Connecticut rapper Chris Webby is bringing his sound to the UK and has shared the visuals for a track entitled ‘Fuck Off’.

The profanely titled track is taken from Webby’s debut album Chemically Imbalanced which was released in October this year. Having charted at number 25 on the Billboard 200, the album has gained positive reviews and with features from artists such as Talib Kweli, B-Real and Tech N9ne, Webby has proven his credentials, especially considering this is his debut album .

With a flurry of mixtapes and EP’s over the last few years, Webby has demonstrated his excellent work rate and desire to achieve all he can within hip hop and once you get past the slightly obvious middle finger to the camera poses, which are littered throughout the visuals for the track (although given the ‘Fuck You’ title what can you expect) it is a great listen.

Webby has a measured flow on the mic and is clearly a talented wordsmith with lyrics such as “you critics can’t deny it / shut your mouth and keep it quiet / now I’m out here getting bread / you think I’m on a subway diet” and “check my lyrics up on rap genius / I’m a rap genius / going longer than a fully gassed Prius / bitch I mean it” showcasing Webby’s talent for writing.

Will Chris Webby make it over in the UK with tracks like this? Check out the video for the track below and let us know what you think via Twitter and Facebook.
