WATCH: De Staat share the most unique music video you’ll see all day

This WILL be the most unique music video you will see all day – I guarantee it.

Dutch alt rock band De Staat have shared the visuals for their track ‘Witch Doctor’. Showcasing frontman Torre Florim’s extraordinary vision and created by Studio Smack along with animator Floris Kaayk, it sees Florim control an army of looming and fearsome bare chested men who seeom to have become stuck in a hypnotic mosh pit. As the crowd circle him, he deftly controls them with his words and they proceed to aggressively march around him, threatening to explode before he commands them further, eventually erupting in a consuming typhoon-esque circle pit.

Inspired by ritualistic dancing Florim explains; “I discovered several religious dances, in which the dancers move synchronously. I liked that idea. But the video makers had to invent how to create it all. If you have no Hollywood studio behind you, then it’s just a load of work. But the result is very nice.”

If you see anything more bizarre/engrossing/original today, let us know via Twitter and Facebook, although we’re pretty convinced this is gonna be difficult to top.

‘Witch Doctor’ is taken from De Staat’s 2013 album I_Con and you can grab your copy via iTunes here.
