WATCH: Folly Rae shares visuals for ‘Run For Cover’

Building on a successful 2013 that saw her track ‘Free Your Mind’ become Huw Stephens’s and BBC Introducing track of the week, Folly Rae returns with the visuals for the lead track from her debut EP of the same name – Run For Cover’. Set to other-worldly landscapes, Rae’s video takes us on a journey of true emotion. Ripe with pathetic fallacy, the rainy cliffs and wind-swept waters are taken over by the true determination of human nature as the track itself heightens the emotive visuals perfectly, combining rich orchestral elements, with an 80s style beat.

With support from BBC Radio One’s DJ Target, Charlie Sloth, and Mistajam, including the track being named BBC Radio 1XTRA’s ‘Track Of the Week’, Rae is set to make her mark this side of 2015, with her honey-toned vocals offered on an expertly crafted piece of production.

Born in Hertfordshire, with Norwegian heritage, Rae trained as a classical dancer, before realising it was her love for music that she wanted to pursue. Having been in the studio with Sticky Productions, the team behind the likes of Ed Sheeran, Rae’s instantly recognisable haunting vocals now offer a fuller, more mature sound and with her EP due out shortly, we are certainly looking forward to hearing the rest of the what Folly Rae has to offer.
