WATCH: Harsh Crowd – ‘Clowns’

One of our ‘Ones To Watch‘ for the year, young Brooklyn-based band Harsh Crowd formed back in 2013 aged just 11. With fans including the almighty Kathleen Hanna, and having just been Youth Ambassadors at the recent Women’s March On Washington, the band have now released a brand new video for their latest politically-charged track.

‘Clowns’ oozes powerful hooks and raw, gritty vocals with an impassioned force. As these teens condemn the political system, they exude an admirable passion and insight beyond their years, proving that they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Accompanied by a video filled with footage of various protests and riots, as the girls don ‘Bernie 2016’ tees, ‘Clowns’ is a powerful, necessary antidote to everything that’s happening right now.

And, if these teens don’t inspire you, I don’t know what will; they are just what we need to look up to and be inspired by right now.

Better, the latest EP from Harsh Crowd, is out now.
