WATCH: Jhene Aiko shares video for new single ‘The Pressure’

Def Jam signee Jhene Aiko has released the video to her single ‘The Pressure’ which is taken from her debut solo album due out on 8th September 2014 titled Souled Out. Read our review of the track from earlier this year here.

Directed by US rapper Childish Gambino, the video, which sees Aiko sporting a new set of blonde dreads, uses strong visuals to highlight the pressure that can be found in a relationship that’s in the media spotlight. Vibrant colours and powerful lighting really catch the meaning behind the track and accompany it perfectly. With her debut album set to drop in one week, we are looking forward to hearing more from the artist that we named as ‘one to watch’.
