WATCH: Kyle Lettman teams up with Distant Light on new track ‘Mind’

When Kyle Lettman shared his rework of Artful Dodger’s classic ‘Movin Too Fast’ earlier this year, he gave us an insight into his UK garage influences. Having teamed up with production duo Distant Light, he’s now gone ‘full garage’ and provided the vocals for the instantly catchy ‘Mind‘.

Featuring all the trademark sounds that made UK garage the juggernaut that it was, ‘Mind’ is a skippy, dance-friendly banger and combined with Kyle Lettman’s smooth vocals, is a hugely welcome visit back to the sounds that were so huge during the late 90’s/early 00’s. The engrossing visual that accompanies the track keeps you engaged and wanting to find out what happens next throughout, and even if it is a little cheesy and the “she feels so good when I’m inside of her line” initially shocks you to your core, it fits the track really well, with Kyle even getting to try his hand at a bit of acting (doing a great job too).

Whilst this is the first track that Kyle Lettman and Distant Light have done together, the production duo have previously worked their magic on tracks with Ellie Goulding, Misha B and Angel. With ‘Mind’ being such a strong track, hopefully the duo will team up with Kyle Lettman again in the near future as we’d definitely like to hear more music like this from the team.
