In The Woods Festival returns for 2017

In The Woods has confirmed its return for 2017, following last year’s 10th birthday celebrations.

The festival will take place on September 1 & 2 2017 at a secret woodland location in Kent.

Curators, Charlie Andrew (Brit Award winning producer, Tom Ranger, Mark Rainbow, Will Brown, Tim Adam-Smith, Hinako Omori and Joel McBride, will all return for the festival next year. They’ll also deliver two-days packed full of new talent across music, art and spoken word.

Speaking about the festival, Tim Adam-Smith said: “What makes ITW different form other festivals is our focus on building a truly balanced line-up that reflects every corner of the industry. There are 7 of us, all with wildly different tastes; gunning for the artists we think are producing something special – it’s an incredibly democratic process where we only book an act if everyone is happy doing so.

“Thanks to our size, we are able to check all the bands we’re interested in out live before we book them ensuring that we deliver a knock out live show. Plus you can’t beat hanging out in the woods for a weekend!”

The line-up will be announced only a week before it all kicks off, as is tradition with In The Woods, and will see 18 specially selected acts perform across two main stages. Previous line-ups have boasted the likes of Alt-J, Slaves and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

There’s much more than music for the 1,000 attendees who will experience vinyl lounges, pop-up cinemas, yoga retreats and silent discos. Art installations will also cover the secret woodland location, and there will be locally sourced cuisine and local brews to keep festival goers going for the whole weekend.

Tickets will be available from April 4, and will cost £130.
