The Scruff are back after a turbulent year that has seen major changes, both in life and as a band. The Bedford boys have seen a member emigrate, a subsequent rebuilding process and a new outlook on their sound fuelled by the passing of a beautiful soul (Omar’s mum Cleo) that inspired their latest single and best single (by miles) yet.

“Time is drifting away, taught me how to talk and how to stand, what I would give to hold your hand”.

Beautiful, poignant, an absolutely stunning song and tribute. With all the best bands channeling negatives into positives ‘Her’ suggests The Scruff are on the right track to making their mums very proud indeed.
