Field Day add Dr John Cooper Clarke and Loyle Carner to 2017 bill

Field Day has announced the latest wave of acts to join their 2017 lineup, including Loyle Carner, Phil Taggart and Dr John Cooper Clarke.

Taking place on Saturday, June 3 at London’s Victoria Park, the annual alternative music celebration is already looking bigger and better than its predecessors.  The recently-revealed acts, such as Oxford’s Esther Joy and rising PC superstar, Hannah Diamond, will join the already-announced: Aphex Twin, Rae Morris and Flying Lotus, at the festival this summer.

Probably the most prominent name to be joining the Field Day 2017 bill is London’s own, Loyle Carner.  Following up the success of his January-released debut record Yesterday’s Gone, his Field Day performance is sure to send shivers.

Also appearing at Field Day this summer will be the Salford Bard himself, Dr John Cooper Clarke.  Bringing his own concoction of comedic poetry and pure insight into the world of the ‘working class’, Cooper Clarke’s set always holds something to spark a laugh.

Elsewhere, BBC Radio DJ’s and purveyors of new music, Phil Taggart and Tom Ravenscroft will be performing at the 11th edition of Field Day, as well as Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and Canadian singer-songwriter, Andy Schauf.

The latest editions to be added to the Field Day lineup can be seen below.

Tickets for the festival are available to purchase now.
