Gengahr release new single ‘Atlas Please’

Gengahr are back with their latest single ‘Atlas Please’, one of their best works to date via Transgressive Records, produced by no other than Jack Steadman from Bombay Bicycle Club.

Tame Impala and a dash of Bombay vibrations ooze through the track, mixed with their unique, incomparable sound. Pop idealist and lo-fi instrumentals staple the track together with the lyrics, which BBC Radio 1 have already claimed track of the week.

The Londoner guitarist and vocalist, Felix Bushe spoke about the single:

“‘Atlas Please’ is us considering that our lasting memories are the ones shared in good company – although, at times it can feel as though the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders. Talking to friends and considering our own personal experiences, we’re mindful that we often find it easier to suffer in silence than to open up – so being able to identify when someone you care about is hurting and to make the time to help them is an incredibly important and powerful thing to do. We hope you all enjoy the song and look forward to seeing you soon.”

The combined complimenting sounds will leave you desperate for more. Fortunately, this one off single is just a taster of the work still to come from the band, as they proceed to work on new material.

In the meantime, you can catch them on their latest tour here.
