September’s edition of The Gigslutz Girls’ New Music Show kicked off with Chaka Khan, before sliding into the latest in best new music from the likes of feminist punk band Childbirth, The Orielles, Knife Pleats and a great cover of ‘Missing’ by Young Romance. This month’s guest was Sonia Stein who played two great acoustic tracks including her new single ‘Baggage’. Tash told us her take on a Heavy Petting Zoo and Mari summed up Freddie Mercury as the “Queen of Queens and the Queen of Queen” – deep.
