LIVE (PHOTOS): Vintage Trouble – o2 Forum Kentish Town, London 17.11.15

Dressed like they’re fresh off a stage coach, Vintage Trouble are a show band in the true sense of the word. They’re a-rocking and a-rolling, bustin’ moves and bringing the grooves. Playing juke box blues like your Grandaddy bopped to, infused with a modern edge that makes them oh so of the times.

Fronted by fire-cracker whirl-wind Ty Taylor, a man with more charisma and stage presence in his pelvic thrusts than the majority of his contemporaries have in their entire bodies, this foursome, hailing from the City Of Angels is completed by lead guitarist Nalle Colt, bass-man Rick Barrio Dill and drummer Richard Danielson.

These straight shooting, dirty talking gun-slingers of RnB didn’t just roll into London town to play their brand of blues rock, they came to mark their territory and stamp their existence into our memory banks. Forgetting these razor sharp entertainers will be hard, so enjoyable is their Elvis Presley, Ottis Reading and James Brown inspired show, an ecstatic blend of spins, jumps, mic stand twirling and crowd surfing, all delivered with the energy and passion of a Deep South Revival Meeting. A religious experience indeed, one that will have you praying to the High Holy Lord Of Swinging, Heart Thumping Beats. Praise be!
