New Track: Arcade Hearts – ‘Tried For Nothing’

For fans of consuming indie-pop, Portsmouth quartet Arcade Hearts release their debut single ‘Tried For Nothing’.

With the poignant upbeat funk of Foals meeting the blissful churning flurry of JAWS, ‘Tried For Nothing’ bounces and intoxicates. Jerking in playful melody and toying with the fuzz of shoegaze, Arcade Hearts’ debut glimmers in hazy noise-pop.

Accompanied by a spirited self-made music video, Arcade Hearts’ debut proves animatedly endowed for a first release.

Currently making initial waves in their hometown of Portsmouth, Arcade Hearts’ contagious rattle proves that there could be room for another determined indie band to rise to the surface.

With a well-received headline show in Southsea already undergone, Arcade Hearts are set to play Southsea Festival this weekend ( 1 October ), alongside Mystery Jets, British Sea Power and Coasts.

‘Tried For Nothing’ is out now.
