Ireland/London alt-rock duo REWS have released a new video for their upcoming single ‘Shake Shake’, and it’s the riotous musical remedy your lazy limbs have been waiting for.
Their song drips with pop-rock power, which is unsurprising when you delve in to their impressive industry credentials. Bassist and vocalist, Shuana Tohill, toured as a guest vocalist with Snow Patrol, and as bassist with Darwin Deez, whilst drummer and vocalist Collette Williams cut her teeth as a session musician, and can be seen drumming in the video for Gabrielle Aplin’s current hit single ‘Sweet Nothing’. Together, the girls create high energy alt-rock that buzzes with genuine joy and enthusiasm.
REWS are playing at The Great Escape Festival on 20th May, and they’ll be talking in the studio on 5th May on the Gigslutz Girls New Music Show on Hoxton Radio. Make sure you tune in, 7-9pm!
