NEWS: The Soup Dragons original line up reform!

The Soup Dragons, who gained popularity in the early 1990’s for their cover of The Rolling Stones’ song I’m Free, along with the single Divine Thing, as well as cracking the USA with their album Lovegod have reformed with their original line up.

The line up will consist of: Sean Dickson (vocals, lead guitar), Jim McCulloch (guitar, second voice), Sushil K. Dade (bass) along with original drummer Ross A Sinclair.

The band are due to undertake a short 6 date tour visiting Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Newcastle and Glasgow in late 2023 with support on the tour coming from The Vaselines (London and Glasgow), BMX Bandits (Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle)  and The Pastels DJ Set (Glasgow only).

The band recently had their early material recently reissued by Raw TV Products / LNFG via a sensational compilation celebrating the period 1985-1988, including early singles, Peel sessions and beloved rarities, the album was lovingly put together by Sean, Sushil, Jim and Ross, featuring liner notes from Pete Paphides. All tracks were remastered by Sean in 2022.

These gigs are not to be missed, no doubt fans of the band will lap up the tickets, making these some of the must see gigs of the year.
