*PREMIERE* This Feeling Track of the Day : Breed ‘Starman’

Newcomers BREED hail from a rundown seaside town in Essex. There’s not much work. There’s not much to do. Apart from music. Being in a band, it’s everything to these boys. Jake (vocals), Max (guitar), Sam (bass) and Matt Carmen (drums) have all been in different bands previously who’ve long since split, but for these four working class lads, the dream remains the same; to make it, to get out and see the world, to matter. And to have a fucking good time doing so.

Breed formed over a mutual love of Kasabian, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Oasis to name but a few and whilst they share a similar lust for life with the above, Breed have a darker, heavier sound. Debut single ‘Starman’ is a real statement of intent, anthemic punk rock in the vein of The 80s Matchbox B-line Disaster, Cooper Temple Clause and The Cramps. Ones to watch.

Breed play their first show at London’s Water Rats April 1. For all things Breed click HERE
