Manchester’s Cleargreen have started to cause rumblings across the North, pricking ears all across the UK and over the pond in the process. With the release of anthemic, dreamy new single ‘People’, you can bet your life on it that buzz grow for the ambitious 4-piece. The track talks about duality within people, the good and bad, and that people aren’t necessarily one or the other. It also shows how we desire better lives for ourselves and how we are influenced by the people around us for better or worse. Huge hooks, majestic melodies and big, big choruses, borrowing from 60s pop influences more and recent bands such as Sticky Fingers and DMAs to create a shimmering slice of great modern guitar pop.
