The Kooks to headline Community Festival 2019

For its third year, Community Festival has announced The Kooks will be claiming the top spot of this summer’s line-up.

More nostalgia will wash into North London as Kate Nash rolls into town, armoured with hits from 2007’s Made of Bricks.

Stockport boys Blossoms will join both, after the success of their last album Cool Like You and a huge date at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park, also in June of this year.

For anyone who has seen videos of Gerry Cinnamon’s set at TRNSMT festival last year, they will be salivating at the prospect of a mass sing-song to tunes such as Sometimes and Belter.

The dose of indie magic will be provided by Reading outfit The Amazons, who are set to release the follow-up to their spectacular eponymous debut album. Blaenavon, The Night Café and Sea Girls are amongst the first wave of acts announced.
