Fresh off their first solo UK tour, and in the midst of recording a new album, STAGS are sharing the new video for ‘Where Only God Knows,’ exclusively on Gigslutz.
Talking about the track and video – taken from last year’s EP Night Time Voices, lead singer Chris Finney says: “The story is about loving someone who can’t find happiness and being unable to help them. The opening line, “You struggle to live but you don’t wanna die”, emphasises the ill contentment felt by the one you love, and being powerless to change this can create a sense of personal bewilderment in yourself which can lead to doubt.” The track itself mirrors the soulfulness of the topic, Finney’s vocals perfectly capturing various emotions.
Bluesy and brooding, with a beautifully shot video to match, ‘Where Only God Knows’ is building excitement for whatever STAGS have to offer this year.
