New GLITCHES single ‘Only Time Will Tell’ – LISTEN NOW

Glitches release new single ‘Only Time Will Tell’, on Jen Long’s Kissability label on 22nd July. The song sees the band at their most emotionally charged and sonically direct, detailing the challenges of sticking together amidst an uncertain future. The accompanying video is as ambitious and cinematic as the band’s sound. Filmed in and around an expansive and beautiful wilderness, it details the building and ritualistic burning of a monumental structure.

Their previous release, the climactic ‘Warm Seas’, was selected by Huw Stephens as his BBC Introducing Discovery of the week. Also championed by John Kennedy, the track emphatically announced Glitches to a wider audience and has led to a string of sell-out shows across London with promoters such as ATP, Mean Fiddler and Eat Your Own Ears. Recently tipped by both NME and The Fly as ‘ones to watch’, the band are set to continue on this upward trajectory with shows at The Great Escape Festival .

They live, write, and record together, and have established an exciting local scene focused around their own series of live music events ‘Halcyon Nights’.

These are hosted at Glitches’ HQ and have involved the likes of Beaty Heart, NZCA/Lines, Rhosyn, and We Have Band. It’s chaos (within reason).

Glitches play The Shackelwell Arms on 12th June 2013…
