NEWS: Oasis – The Lost Tapes Tour

Since it was announced that 2 Manchester brothers would reunite for a global tour playing their music to a set of fans ready to burst every person who has felt the collar of either Liam or Noel has come out of the woodwork. One significant cog of the duo’s make up is Tim Abbot, Oasis former label manager.

He has to much excitement unearthed an important chunk of previously unseen material dating back to the bands breathtaking rise to popularity in the early 90’s, from coheadlining a tour with Scottish diamonds Whiteout, to headlining their own record breaking shows at Knebworth, the path of the bands success appears to be covered in the footage Abbot has unearthed, which will no doubt widely appeal to the general populous of the Oasis fandom.

Not only is there a film there’s a book being released to coincide with the moving picture finds, all very impressive to behold when it might’ve been thought everything in the bands archive might be kept firmly under lock and key. More words and information are lifted from the projects press release:

The Lost Tapes Tour brings unseen Oasis footage and official book launch to UK cinemas.

This summer, Oasis fans across the UK will get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the band like never before.

Launching in July 2025, The Lost Tapes Tour is a 10-night cinema event hosted by Tim Abbot — former Managing Director of Creation Records and a key figure in Oasis’s rise to fame. The tour showcases never-before-seen archival footage of the band, alongside the official launch of Tim’s new book, OasisDefinitely.

Each night will feature a live appearance by Tim Abbot, exclusive unseen footage from the band’s early years, and an audience Q&A. A variety of ticket options are available:

• Standard Entry – access to the screening and Q&A
• Book Ticket – includes a copy of OasisDefinitely
• VIP Ticket – includes the book, a limited edition print, and a post-show meet and greet with Tim Abbot.

“This book is a time capsule,” says Abbot. “It’s not a press piece — it’s what actually happened. The laughs, the rows, the weird gigs in even weirder towns. The moments you couldn’t make up if you tried.”

The tour kicks off at Cineworld Birmingham on 2nd July 2025, with additional dates in Wolverhampton, Bolton, Didsbury, St Helens, Stoke-On-Trent, Wembley, Glasgow, Edinburgh & Telford (further dates may be announced) — all one night only per city.
