Grime MC Big H, who has recently been making headlines with his new single ‘Always Say’ and also his Lord Of The Mics 6 headline clash against P Money, took over the centre of London’s Borough Market today and performed two live tracks, courtesy of online culture magazine nudemole and Gigslutz were on hand to bring you some exclusive pictures and details from the event.
With commuters, city workers and tourists passing through, H performed the Bassboy produced ‘Always Say’ to a hugely positive reception from the crowd which had gathered to enjoy the free show. With many tourists taking a keen interest in their ‘holiday discovery’, Big H proceeded to impress with a brand new track, an untitled cover of Linkin Park’s 2003 track ‘Faint’.
Showcasing his ability to lyrically excel over any genre of music, Big H clearly enjoyed performing to the passers by and thrived in the open air setting. The opportunity for H to bring his music to an audience who may not have come across it otherwise was something that he was extremely grateful for and that came across strongly in his performance.
With ‘Always Say’ set to do big things for Big H during this last part of 2014 and with an Urban Music Nomination for Best Grime Act 2014 in the bag, things aren’t looking too bad for the ‘Fire and Smoke’ MC.
