With December 1 looming, it is almost acceptable to say the dreaded ‘C’ word. Gorillaz seem to be taking this agreement into their stride, by announcing a pop-up West London shop for the festive period.
Opening on December 1, the Gorillaz store will be offering a variety of gifts for the intense Gorillaz fan, including Christmas wrapping paper and the first edition of ‘G Magazine’. According to Clash, G Magazine is the bands’ own-branded print output, which will feature a selection of interviews and imagery.
The pop-up shop, set to be located at 357 Portobello Road, London, comes ahead of Gorillaz return to the city, as they play a two-night residency at the O2 Arena on December 4 and 5. Both of these shows are unsurprisingly sold out!
If you are in the capital this December, the festive Gorillaz store should definitely be on your to-do list.
