Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds announce summer 2018 headline show

Stop pinching yourselves, we promise you are not dreaming – Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have been announced to play new venture All Points East, with St. Vincent and Patti Smith set to perform also.

Winning sole use of London’s Victoria Park next summer (forcing both Lovebox and Citadel festivals to relocate) All Point East is already gearing up to be the event of the year.  Promising ten days of spectacular music from May 25 – June 3, 2018, the festival itself has previously announced that LCD Soundsystem and Bjork will be gracing the site in East London.

As well as the three-day event, All Points East is collaborating with APE to put on three gigantic headline shows, one of which will be The National on June 2 and the latest to be announced, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on June 3.

The stand-alone gig sees Nick Cave and his band claiming the premier headline slot; however, he is in danger of being eclipsed by his support acts. The equally-gigantic Patti Smith and her band, fellow Australian Courtney Barnett and the mammoth force of St. Vincent have all been confirmed to be joining Nick Cave at his show at Victoria Park.

Perhaps All Points East’s paramount booking; tickets for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ show at Victoria Park on June 3 will be available for purchase from December 1 at 9 am.
