LISTEN: Donae’o shares new huge Summer anthem ‘Mami No Like’

Donaeeeeee’o! Donaeeeeee’o! Eh! – these are the three words we’ve got used to hearing at the start of every release by North West London artist Donae’o. His unique style of UK Funky meets Afrobeats with a hint of Soca has seen him become one of the first artists that springs to mind when looking for upbeat, Summer-inspired music and his latest effort ‘Mami No Lke’ is no different.

Talking about the track, Donae’o said, “The song is meant to be fun and is made to make you dance” and he has certainly achieved both of those aims. From the off, the vibe created by ‘Mami No Like’ is infectiously catchy and you can’t help but nod your head along to it’s contagious beat. Lyrically, Donae’o tells us a story of a relationship from his pown persepctive and the ups and downs it can go through and without a doubt, ‘Mami my bad I apologise for the juice’ has to take the award for lyric of the track.

With his music always featuring heavily at Notting Hill Carnival amongst other Summer events, Donae’o will be heard all over the UK in the next few months and with more new mucis hopefully on the way shortly, we’re looking forward to hearing more from this immensely talented artist.
