Having already garnered praise from the likes of Zane Lowe, The Guardian and BBC 6Music for their debut release Night Reels, Australian/UK collective Gentlemen are now preparing to release a new EP later this year. Ahead of the EP’s release, the band have shared a brand new single, ‘Corner Of Your Eye’.
Oozing dreamy, psychedelic vibes alongside reflective lyrical storytelling, ‘Corner Of Your Eye’ is a truly seductive sonic delight, filled with shimmering, synth-filled melodies that’ll leave your ears desperate for more. Of the track, singer Paul Housden explains:
“The lyrics tells the tale of a girl plotting her escape from an unpleasant relationship/evil tyrant. All the apparent plotting takes place just beyond the corner of the tyrant’s eye, so is it just his paranoia getting the better of him? Let’s find out…”
