WATCH: Avalanche Party – ‘I’m So Wet’

Avalanche Party have revealed the video for their latest single ‘I’m So Wet’.

The video, filmed and edited by Jodie Canwell with some additional filming from Andy Little, sees the band doused in water while partying and playing along to their frenzied garage-rock.

Speaking about the clip, frontman Jordan Bell says: “This is a song born from staring at the Irish Sea, in all its frothing, rolling, flirtatious glory, battered and broken by the gale and rock to which it is eternally bound.

“A tempting, trembling, perilous Vista which, direct to our brain, shouted ‘Yes! …I’m So Wet’. Add to that a few verses inspired by our tour manager’s Army background and we were ready to go. With water comes life – and we are alive indeed.”

‘I’m So Wet’ follows on from their previous single ‘Solid Gold’ which gained them support from BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music. It’s the first of two singles set to be released via the Leeds-based Clue Records. They’re due to release a full EP later this year.
