Cat Power and Amber Run set for The National’s All Points East Presents show

The likes of Cat Power, Amber Run and Public Service Broadcasting have all been announced to be joining the bill for The National’s show at All Points East 2018.

Taking place on Saturday 2 June, The National’s headline slot sees the five-piece playing their largest show to date at London’s Victoria Park, alongside some previously-unveiled friends – Warpaint, The Districts, Future Islands and the stimulating War On Drugs

Adding to this already mammoth bill, All Points East has announced the phenomenal Cat Power, Spoon, Canada’s Public Service Broadcasting and Broken Social Scene This Is Kit, former Vampire Weekend’s Rostam and Amber Run will all be helping to make this show a roaring success.

The National’s show is the second of three APE Presents Shows.  The first takes the form of Catfish and the Bottlemen (with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and The Amazons) on June 1 and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (with St. Vincent and Courtney Barnett) on June 3.

The APE Presents shows come the weekend after All Points East three-day festival takes place in Victoria Park.  The Festival itself is set to be headlined by kooky disco kids, LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Iceland’s leading lady, Björk.  Elsewhere on the bill are Father John Misty, Lykke Li, Lord and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Tickets for the All Points East Festival and all three APE Presents shows, including The National’s, are available for purchase now.
