This Feeling Track Of The Day: Tom Grennan ‘Sober’

Tom Grennan is the kinda guy who has authenticity seeping from his very pores and with the release of his powerful latest single, Sober, it seems he can add bold, self-reflection to that list of traits, too. Dwelling on his relationship with alcohol, Sober is as stark as it is beautiful and is a glorious pre-cursor for the release of his debut album in May.

Speaking about the single, Tom stated, “I wanted to write about always getting really drunk. At one point in my life, I hated getting drunk, but I was always doing it, and the morning after I would always feel guilty. Then the next day I would get fucked up again. It’s about me not letting myself get sober. Then it took this whole different twist. It’s like a Bond song, and it’s one of the only songs on the record that takes me on a rollercoaster.’
