Good Wilson share new video for latest single ‘Plenty’

Following on from the release of their new single ‘Plenty’ last week, indie five piece Good Wilson have now shared a video to accompany the track. Directed by Gabriel Hyden, the monochrome visuals feature the Vienna-based band playing their song on empty roads against sparse skylines and under studio spotlights, contrasting with the themes of excess they explore in their lyrics.

“The world needs change,” Good Wilson comment about their new single. “‘Plenty’ is a song about being tired of the plenty of excuses made by those who have plenty of possibilities and plenty of power to make those changes in the world.” The band have transformed these feelings of frustration and uncertainty into playful, buoyant melodies. They gently invite listeners to question what it means to be content, urging them to find peace in life’s simple pleasures: “it shouldn’t be such a huge dilemma, ‘cos plenty is never forever”

Good Wilson have gained a loyal following since they released their 2019 hit ‘Divine’, which has amassed 2.5 million streams on Spotify to date. The band are currently working on their second album, which is set to be released in Autumn later this year. Before that, Good Wilson are gearing up for an exclusive headline show at Wombat’s, London on 10th May, before heading down to Brighton to play two shows at this year’s The Great Escape Festival.
