PREMIERE: Icey Stanley shares brand new video for ‘One Take’

As a hugely talented up & coming artist in the UK scene, Coventry-born Icey Stanley is definitely an artist you should be taking note of. He’s supported a host of respected artists including Jme, Fuse ODG, & Lady Leshurr and we’re excited to be able to premiere his latest video for new track ‘One Take

Released on Yah Yah Records, the track is about Icey’s relationship with music and his drive to succeed, which has helped him create some memorable moments in his career so far. The string-filled Hip Hop beat on ‘One Take’ provides the perfect soundtrack for Icey to demonstrate his clear talent for rapping, both lyrically and in terms of his flow, and it gove us a very exciting insight into the kind of sounds we can expect to hear from Icey across the rest of 2016. Filmed on a day out in Brighton, the colourful and vibrant video really helps us visualise the content of the track and succeeds in bringing the story to life.

Icey began his music career during his school years after finding music an engaging method to express himself and voice his opinions. Growing up in Coventry, Icey became deeply involved in the local Hip Hop scene and made a name for himself by making musical compositions for other artists. He grabbed the attention of the small city with his inimitable, melodious flows and has had support from a number of local platforms and festivals.
