The Japanese House and more added to Standon Calling 2019 line-up

The Japanese House have been confirmed to play Standon Calling 2019.

Dirty Hit’s Amber Bain, aka The Japanese House, will be joining the likes of Nile Rodgers and Wolf Alice in the Hertfordshire fields.

Adding to today’s announcement is Annabel Allum, for fans of Courtney Barnett and Du Blonde, who will be playing the festival for the first time. After a blinding set last year that even got headliner and legend Brian Ferry excited, Maven Grace will be returning with their haunting yet cinematic sound.

Speaking about the announcement, Annabel Allum said: “I’m really excited to play Standon Calling. I’ve always wanted to play and I’m excited to see The Big Moon play some new material. I’ve missed them! Other highlights will include the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Wolf Alice (of course) & my boys Honey Lung!

Maven Grace added: “Standon Calling is very important to us as a band and our history with the festival goes right back to its earliest days. It is a pleasure to be returning to play and we can’t wait to see everyone there.”

These three acts will be joining headliners Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Wolf Aliice and Rag’n’Bone Man. Other acts across the weekend include Friendly Fires, Echo & the Bunnymen, Róisín Murphy, IDLES, Lewis Capaldi, Mahalia, Kate Nash, The Big Moon, Steam Down, Band Of Skulls, The Go! Team, The Joy Formidable, Sea Girls, Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, Warmduscher and many more.
