WATCH: Troy Hudson launches visual EP ‘Protect Your Throne’

Following the exclusive launch of her ‘Protect Your Throne’ project at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill, which Gigslutz attended for a sneak preview of her exciting new visual EP, Troy Hudson releases the first of a five-part story with the video for ‘Head Over Heels’.

With a 90’s throwback R&B sound, a sexy-cool vibe and a video reminiscent of the classics with her girls in tow, Troy begins the journey eyeing up her man and falling ‘Head Over Heels’ in love. Combining elements of comedy alongside catchy, chilled vibes, Troy sets off the story brilliantly and leaves us eagerly anticipating the next installment.

Releasing her music in a creative and visual way, which differs from the standard practice, Troy captures the essence of what her music stands for and brings something different to the UK urban scene. Whilst exciting and visually impressive videos are nothing new, visual EP’s are still a relatively under used concept in the UK and with the quality of ‘Protect Your Throne’, Troy Hudson is certainly setting the benchmark for what we’ll come to expect!

Having been present at the preview and seen the collection of videos in their entirety, we can safely say that you need to make sure you check each one out to see how the story unfolds because the tension, drama and gripping storyline is not one to be missed – not to mention the quality tunes that soundtrack these visual masterpieces; it’s worth checking back for those alone! To see what does indeed happen next, make sure you check back for the next video for the track ‘Predicament’ which features fellow My-Ish signee, Incisive and drops TOMORROW!
