Gigslutz Video Vote, February 2016

Welcome to the Gigslutz February Video Vote! Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing music videos from a variety of new and up-and-coming artists, and asking you to vote for your favourite by using the star rating below. At the end of the month, the winning video will be announced, and the artist/band behind the footage will have their track played on the Gigslutz Girls’ New Music Show – plus, they’ll be invited in for a live session!

Kicking things off this month are Petrol Girls; a feminist post-hardcore band, based in South East London. The band originally formed back in 2013 to perform a gig for International Women’s Day, and they draw on personal experiences to challenge and ridicule sexism in their songs. Below is their video for ‘Slug’. Watch, enjoy – and don’t forget to vote!
