PREMIERE: Wax Machine – ‘Magic Machine’

‘Magic Machine’ is the brand new single from Brighton outfit Wax Machine, and here at Gigslutz we’re excited to be exclusively premiering this eight minute slice of psychedelia. Described as “Brighton’s answer to the Velvet Underground” (LNL Dirty Press & The Hope and Ruin), Wax Machine are a super cool bunch of musicians who create colourful tunes, and sport some funky threads (see image above for examples).

The band blend bass, sax, percussion, guitar, and keys effortlessly to create tunes like the trippy ‘Magic Machine’. The laid back vocals and swaggering instrumentals make this eight minute track pass by in what feels like half the time.

The band will be releasing a video to accompany the song later this week, and they’ll also be hosting a single launch show with Acid Box Promotions at The Hope & Ruin in Brighton on the 17th of Feb (RSVP to the event here). Listen to ‘Magic Machine’ and the equally cool b-side ‘Holy Ripples’ below, and follow Wax Machine on Facebook for more updates.
