Vieux Loup is the new album lined up to be released this summer by The Acorn. The Canadian artist has produced a set of tracks combining the Indie and Folk music, alongside electronic riffs. With it already sparking interest from the likes of Clash and Uncut, we can tell that this album will soar though the charts as soon as it’s officially released on the 1 June.

The leading single on this album is ‘Cumin’. The soft sounds compliment the vocals that seem to blend so easily into the beats of the track. The minimal style sets the track off to a great start, a perfect example of ‘less is more’. The song creates an ambient atmosphere, making it easy listening, with summer vibes oozing from the smoothness of the indie-folk riffs. The elusive sound manages to warm the surroundings of wherever this track is played and the simple rhythm is one that gets wedged in the mind sharply. As an upcoming artist, The Acorn is one to definitely keep track of as he will soon be bursting through the doors of the music industry to make his way to the top.
