Until 31st December, the BBC are to host an online music video festival, featuring videos sent in from all genre of music and film.

2013 marks the first year that the festival has been online and sees the BBC celebrate both emerging music as well as entries from established film directors working in the industry.

Gary Standley, producer of the BBC Music Video Festival told Gigslutz: “Submissions closed several weeks back, but since we put the Festival live online and people started noticing it, we have had a little flurry of excellent entries – including the Public Service Broadcasting video.

“If we get something exceptional we will always be interested to hear from people! And even if we can’t include them this year, we can pass on the details for next time.”
